1970 GMC Truck Bench Seat

We had a call from a special customer, I can't say who, that ordered a new bench seat for his classic truck.  We used black vinyl with perforated inserts.  This bench seat has a solid bottom with a split backrest.  The ultra fun thing about this seat is that the bottom also flips up giving storage space under the seat.  It comes with sliders and mounting brackets allowing easy installation.  This seat frame comes from Glide Engineering who is located about 15 min east of us making it real easy for us to collaborate and offer a complete seat to our customers.  This was a fun project to work on.

What do you think?

1957 GMC Truck Bench Seat

We are proud to have been chosen to make the seat for this customer's son's birthday.  Our customer was completely restoring this classic truck for him and I'm certain his new flashy interior is going to make this the best gift he's ever gotten.  It often feels risky using such bright colors, but it almost always works out in the end when the seat is installed.

The truck was recently painted blue (an exact match to the Pacific blue we used on the inserts) with lime green accents.  Thanks M family for picking us.

1956 Chevy Truck Bench Seat by Cerullo

This seat was made for our customer Dan for his 56 Chevy truck.  Typically this seat is available with tapered back or just a split back with no arm rest.  Dan had to have the square backs.  This is why he came to the right place.  We worked closely with Glide Engineering (who made the frame) to swap out the usual style of backrest for what our customer wanted.  We made new patterns (so now we have them if you or someone you know likes this), and the seat is now ready to be installed.

We used Katzkin Tan vinyl.

65 Nova Front and Rear

We had a customer with a 65 Nova that needed 2 new front seats and new upholstery on her already existing rear seat.  She chose the Classic Bucket for her front seats.  She was short so her concern was that she wouldn't be able to sit close enough to the wheel.  Simple fix:  we added 1" of foam to the backrest of the driver seat (her personal throne) to push her forward slightly.

We got a surprise when we took her rear seat apart.  The original foam had turned to dust and the frame was so rusted, we were scared to touch it.  Check it out..

We had to sandblast and powder coat the frame to ensure it would last for years to come.

Everyone was so happy.  Success.  Next our designer made a pattern for the rear that matched the design of the Classic buckets and this was the result.

Shelby Series 1 Seats by Cerullo

Carroll Shelby, the famed race car driver, built limited edition high-performance vehicles such as the AC Shelby Cobra and the Shelby Mustangs produced in partnership with Ford Motor Company. He later developed performance cars for both General Motors and Chrysler.

At the age of 74, he built the Shelby Series I, and many consider this the crowning achievement. They featured an aluminum frame, carbon fiber body and a tuned Oldsmobile Aurora V-8 engine. Zero-to-sixty was achieved in just 4.4 seconds and could reach top speeds of 170 mph.  Mr. Shelby also chose to have Richard Cerullo build and furnish the seats for the Series 1.  This is one of our crowning achievements as an automotive seat manufacturer.

Expendables 1955 Ford F150

I'll bet you didn't know that we made the seats for Stallone's Expendables 55 Ford!  The truck was built and seat were installed by West Coast Customs.  WCC built 3 customized matte black 1955 Ford F100s. One was built for a crash scene, the second for green-screen, and the third for Sylvester Stallone to keep.

This is one of those projects that we're so proud to have been a part of.  They used the Cerullo SC Sport Seat in black vinyl and custom embroidered SS logo.
