1970 Chevelle Seats Plus Rear Seat Cover

We just made another set of SC Sport Seats for a 1970 Chevelle and a cover to match for the rear seat.  Cerullo doesn't get a lot of opportunities to upholster rear seats simply because most of our customers are out of state.  It's clearly more convenient for a local customer to bring us their rear seat to cover.  But what do you do when you need a whole new interior and you buy new Cerullo front seats but also need your rear seat to match?  We just happened to have the patterns for the original 70 Chevelle rear seat, so this time it worked out.

Usually we would just sell additional material to our customers so that they can have an upholsterer in their area make a cover to match our seat.  Sometimes we get lucky and if we have the pattern already, we can make the cover and then the customer can have a local person pull it onto the original frame and foam.   We love our local customers though.  They help us to expand our pattern collection so we're able to service more drivers!

53-56 Ford Truck Bench Seat

It's been a long time since we've upholstered a bench seat in fabric (velour style).  It's more common to get orders for vinyl or leather or combo vinyl/tweed.  I'm so glad we got this chance to make a new bench seat for our Canadian customer Ryan and his 53 Ford F-150.  It turned out so great that we'll be making another one to show at the LA Roadster Show next month at the Pomona Fairgrounds.  We're really looking forward to seeing this baby installed.

Update from customer:

"I got to take the first look at my seats today. Let me say wow I'm impressed!! They look great! Such beautiful work! I can't wait to install them in my truck. Your assistance and customer service was phenomenal.  I would recommend you guys to anyone looking for great looking seats with awesome customer service. "

"Thanks so much!"

Ryan

Custom Mod for our Beloved SC Sport Seat

This modification has been very popular for us recently.  The idea was originated by our loyal customer Randy Johnson from D&Z Customs and after seeing pictures of the seat, many retail customers have been ordering their seats this way.  We simply sew vertical pleats instead of horizontal pleats onto the insert portion of the SC Sport Seat.  This way it matches a little closer to original upholstery patterns in many classic muscle cars.  Chevy Nova has been a popular one lately.  Call us today to place your order.  We're happy to mail you fabric samples to check the colors against your existing interior color scheme.  The SC Sport Seat can be made with or without headrests.  The photos below show the seat without the headrests.  The pleats can also be sewn using a single top stitch or using the double stitch - All shown below.

"The Whale"

We met a great customer last week who got a set of SC Sport Seats made for his RV.  He called it "The Whale".  He and his wife go everywhere in this thing.  I just received a photo of his seats installed with this really nice note:

"Hi, Gina, I love the new seats you made me. They're nice and comfortable for long drives, and your color choice was perfect too. "

We get a call a few weeks ago from Jimmy, a very nice man from Birmingham, AL.  He had a very devastating story he shared with me.  He's had a 56 Chevy 2 dr sedan that had been sitting on his property for a long time.  He's had plans of restoring it little by little and now was the time to purchase seats.  His 56 Chevy didn't have seats, at all, so he needed a front and rear replacement.  He said that a few years ago, he gave the original bench seats from the car to a friend of his who had an upholstery business and was local.  There was no rush on this project, so the upholsterer had no pressure to get anything done in a timely manner.  Well, after having the original seats in his shop for over a year, he one day disappeared along with Jimmy's front and rear bench seats.  The guy just took off!!  Could you imagine.  I mean, to be among the few in the world with such a cool classic car and then to have such an important part be stolen!

Cerullo was very fortunate to earn the trust of Jimmy and his wife to make their brand new replacement front and rear bench seats so that they could finally enjoy their special car.  The photos are above and I have more upon request.  I'm saddened for this couple that they had such a devious thing happen to them, but I'm also very thankful for this order and proud that we were chosen.  I'm proud we get to be a part of the story for this car and we made a difference in the lives of these nice people.  Thank you Jimmy for picking us.  We hope you love your new seats and I hope you enjoy turning heads in your newly restored turquoise and white 56 Chevy with Alabaster and Pearl seats.  Keep 'um clean!

The XR3 Sport Seat is a very cool variation of the XR Sport Seat we make.  It's exactly the same seat as the XR, the only difference is the upholstery pattern.  Take a look at the seats made for this 91 Camaro.  You'll see the accent ring following around the bolsters in a contrasting color.  This seat can be made using 2 colors, like what you see here in black and tan, or using 3 colors.  In the 3 color option, you'd see the third contrasting color on the insert portion of the seat.  We love this style and we've been making it for many years.

This customer also bought extra material and had an upholsterer in his local area reupholster his back seats to match the front.  Right on, way to!  I think this car turned out beautiful.  We love our happy customers.

1956 Chevy Sedan Bench Seat

This split back bench seat is going into Mike's 1956 Chevy Sedan.  He's chosen a charcoal leather to go with his dark grey tweed inserts.  There are a few options for the 56 Chevy to choose from .  Tapered backrests that resemble bucket seats with a center fold down arm rest is always available to fit this car.

Angel, our upholsterer poses in the photo above.  We're very proud of what we do here at Cerullo Performance Seating.  Our quality is top notch and we strive to make our customer's happy.

1928-1931 Model A Roadster

Ok, I know, not the greatest quality of image here.  But, you'll get the gist.  Kiwi Steve from Kiwi Steve's Rod and Custom (kiwisteves.com) came by a few weeks ago and brought this frame to us.  His customer wanted a Bone leather cover and new foam.  This was a new one for us since the customer had a slight pattern change idea, so our designer took a day to make new patterns.  We're really happy with the way it turned out.  The color is a rich and creamy shade off of white.  Just waiting for a picture of the seat installed so I can share that you all.  Stay tuned.
